The last few weeks have been interesting to say the least with releases. Several releases have been pushed back quite a bit, on top of that Nike announced last quarter they experienced $790M worth of losses and plan on laying off employees. Will that have an effect on future releases? Possibly, but only time will tell. In the mean time whether you plan to buy for resale or personal, play it smart.
